Ms. Apeksha Sankhalkar, a student of XII science from Panaji's Mushtifund HSS visited me with a collection of basidiomycetes specimens from Mala where she stays. Her collection showed mostly saprotrophic and lignicolous species. Before urbanization Mala was a forested area with plantations.
